This mandala introduces a few new wrinkles. I use more size variations between rings which gives the whole a contracting and expanding rythmn which adds interest. For the first time, I am combining what I call line elements with the basic concentric circles. This is also the first time I have allowed the outer ring to go off the page. Photoshop has all the information filed for what is off the page. If I wanted to, I could shrink this down so that all the outer ring would show. This technology is amazing.
This image is made with 4 photos at different angles of a single flower. If I used more flowers or combined different types of flowers, then it would demonstrate the potential behind this method. I have added another Kahlil Gibran quote at the top of the page. It doesn't show very well at this size. It is designed to look good at poster size. As is, this would not be suitable for cards or small prints although it could be adapted for such.
The quote is:
Love one another, but make not a bond of your love: Let it rather be a moving sea between the shores of your souls.
